Thursday 7th May      Our trip to Rochester                                        
On the 6 of May Ant class went to the Rochester museum to learn more about the World War II, we got to touch, feel and look at the equipment they used to protect themself from Hitler and his troops.One of the most exciting things some of us got to do was go inside a morrison shelter named after a member of the council who came up with the idea of it, if your house fell down you would be safe inside it.Finaly we went for a river side walk to give us some inspiration on our structures we are going to make in D.T because they are re~ building the whole site.

Thursday 30th April

                                                                                           What were doing this term

This term in year 5 our topic is water. In sience we are  learning about condensation and evaporation we have experamented with a bottle filled with ice and observed what happend to it.
 Photo #1 In litarecy we have been writing perswasive texts, our latest work was writing a persuasive letter to Mrs Sanford about how we need to keep swimming on the criculam.
I'm most looking foward to D.T because we are making differant sculptures. Photo #2 We are also going to the Rochester musiam to learn a bit more about the world wars, then we are going to look at the pentathalon for D.T(it's the five olympican rings).
