Cooking for Schools |

 Again this year Flora is doing a campaign to get children invovled
in Cooking and Baking. Our school has registered with flora so we can get
involved. 2010 will be the last year that flora will do this
campaign so we need to bring them in this year. I like cooking as it
helps you later in life and sometimes you get messy this weekend i am
going to be baking some sponge cakes. |
 The tokens are the foil on flora butter tubs. Take them off
wash them and send them into school. The school will go onto the website
and enter the code. The cooking equiptment will go towards: baking in
golden time; Greek Day in year6 and
Lessons like baking biscuits
in year 5.

Christmas at high halstow primary

At high halstow primary school
everyone celebrated christmas as mrs sanford said she has celebrated
christmas for the 9th time.
we all had a great time designing christmas
hoops as you can see year 6 designed christmas birds that they
painted.
All key stage 1 got to decorate a christmas tree that we have
in the hall everytime we have assembly every single eye looks at it at
least once thats how creative it is.
In the hall way we have a very
special advent calender and when you open a door its a piture and as you
can see theres a red and green box there where you put in answers to
questions in the box's,theres yellow tags round the numbers wich are the
questions.

This is a picture of our school council members.
School council is a opportunity to give answers to make the school
better.
There is a chair a vice - chair a treasurer a
secretary and they are very important jobs for year six's, but not just
year sixes can do these jobs one time Hannah in year four got a job
as secretary. (yellow) |

We have
done High Halstow got talent and leonie won High Halstow got talent, Eco
frieendly bag for to save the polution and the public will use it for to
put there food in from the supermarket,dragons den is a desgin and
tecnolge compition that Tegan in year five won dragons den. (red) |

The first new group is
Green Team. This is new because of new members. It is made of years
3,4,5,6.The jobs are taking the garbage. We get special jobs like a JRSO
which is a Junior Road Safety Officer . |
| There is also a new school council. Which is made up
of two members of each class.There are jobs such as chair who leads
the meeting.The treasurer who counts the money we get from charity
events. Last the secretary who writes about the meeting and makes
the meeting minutes. |

This is the Busy Buddy board. They are the year 6
class.
They are there to interest us in new games. My favourite game is
blob tag. The aim of this is to not get tagged
by the two people that
are
