School Dinners

Children can make a choice regarding lunchtime, to have a school meal, bring a packed lunch, or go home for lunch. School meals are all cooked on the premises by an external catering provider. At present the cost of a school meal is £1.95 per day, and the money should be sent to school, at the beginning of each week, in a marked envelope so that it does not become lost. Cheques for dinner money should be made payable to Chartwells. The caterers require at least a terms notice for starting or stopping school meals. Parents of children entitled to free school meals should make an application to the Area Education Officer (the form is available from school). Children who go home for dinners should not return until 1.00pm.
